Can't play Dredge after downloading DLC

I played Dredge and finished it a couple times months ago. I moved on to other things. Then I recently saw there was some new DLC on sale so I downloaded both DLC's and updated my install. Now the game boots into the start screen but stalls there. No input from mouse or keyboard has any effect.

I erased all of my save games and rebooted Dredge with no luck. I erased the saved games folder and rebooted, no luck. I un installed and re-installed Dredge to include a complete delete of all Black Salt Games content, still same result...game boots to start screen and then stalls. Please help! I want to play the new content...

I think your save file got corrupted, delete the game completely and also delete the save files then disable the Steam Cloud then install it again and try running it again. If this doesn't work, then I'm sorry.

You can also try a file integrity check in the settings of Dredge on Steam, maybe the reinstall use a same corrupted install cache each time or something
