Is Exotic fish gonna re-spawn ?

I find this gulper eel without thinking I sell it and now I regret, that I cannot show it for quest.
Is exotic fish gonna re-spawn or any known exotic fish respawn ? let me know. Thanks

They don't respawn, but you also don't need to turn them in to complete the quest. She just wants to know where they were found basically, doesn't need the proof that you found them (including if you lost one to hull damage instead of selling it). Just have to talk to her directly the next time you dock at any of her pontoons.

I got one of the exotic fish and it immediately got infected so that was fun as well.
