Broke the Stone Tablets mission

So I ended up getting hit when i had one of the tablets and it damaged the inventory spot it was in and destroyed the item. I really wanted to do as much 100% completion on just the one save file but now that seems impossible. Ive checked all the locations for the tablets and theres not any gold fishing spots so im sure ive gotten them. Im thinking I might just not be able to complete this mission now.

Try quitting and loading back in.

If you Docked after the accident then I believe there is nothing you can do.

If a stone tablet gets destroyed, then it's supposed to respawn at the location where you found it originally. Have you checked there?

Omg you might be right. I remember last night I discarded the first tablet, and it spawned back in its Dredging spot.

had the same problem and for me it respawned on one of the dreding locations.
