100% fish with bait

I am on the process of 100% fish and wanted to share a tip I discovered for hunting specific fish. If you use the mixed bait it will only summon fish that you are able to catch. So if you need a shallow fish you can only equip a shallow rod and use bait to get shallow fish. Time of day also does not matter only biome.

Are you saying that you can catch a night fish during the day with bait?

You can also use the aberrated ability to immediately catch the aberration type of a certain type of fish. You can combine this with the mixed bait to attract all kinds of fish until you find the right type of fish.

With this I got all missing aberration types within like 30 minutes or so. To recharge the ability, just wait a certain amount of time at a harbor of your choice.

Knowing this, it's basically pointless to hunt aberrations before you get that ability unless you catch them anyway.
