With that said I haven't played the game yet checking it out. Maybe if youre young and have doubts stay away.
true but I don't think they had to face eldritch horrors
Calm down buddy, obviously a question from a kid.
My young friend, I'm a Christian guy, and I can think of nothing that the Lord would object to from us playing this game. The only problem is that kids sometimes tend to be too influenced by things that aren't meant to influence them. For example, there is talk of mystical powers and strange happenings related to the unexplained or the supernatural. Adults would look at this and not take it too seriously because it's only a game.
Just be careful that you don't take things you see on the internet/games or TV too seriously, and start thinking there may be anything real about them and you'll be fine.
You know pople like you unintentonally prove what everyone once in a while can tell about religion, that apart from being an obvious scam, it's also a real buzzkill.
It's also hilarious in many ways, like did you know that Santa Claus apart from being the patron of children toymakers merchants etc. is also the patron of prostitutes?
I'm sorry if me asking a question offends you and I hope someday god shows himself to you and you follow him.
non enim dedit nobis Deus spiritum timoris sed virtutis et dilectionis et sobrietatis
In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti
In all seriousness, go for it. It's a gorgeous game and I love it through and through. As long as you're concrete in your beliefs and understand that this is a work of fiction, you'll be alright and still on your track to the afterlife.
