I don't really want the entire location to be removed - I was just venting my irritation with the location's enemies, and thought it would be (somewhat) amusing to exaggerate in the title.
That said, I find it kind of weird that you can't do anything about the enemies in Devil's Spine. You can ward off the creature in Stellar Basin with the Repulsion Machine after you do the related pursuit, you can trap and bomb the Mind Suckers in Twisted Strand during the related pursuit, but there is no such opportunity in Devil's Spine (yes, you can ward off the piranhas and mother fish with the vents, but if there are none around and/or if you got too many piranhas on you, you don't have any choice other than Banish or Manifest).
This is especially weird since, arguably, the enemies in Devil's Spine are more hindering than those in both Stellar Basin and Twisted Strand (with the fact that they are everywhere and they slow you down). It would have been nice if we could at least destroy pools of piranhas using Atrophy (it would make the ability at least somewhat useful).
