I don't see Dredge translating well into a movie. Part of the atmosphere of dredge is the isolation and unknown lurking creatures in the dark... and also sailing in circles for hours trying to catch the aberration you are missing in your net....

Hopefully it's filmed in a coastal town in New England.

It could be a prequel and we see what happened before the events of the game. That would translate better than what we do in game, seeing how our Fisherman brought about the beginning of the end kinda thing.

could easily be something like jaws...at day and night, add in other spooky stuff, i mean this new dlc is a big old rig, that might be expensive to do but would add to the spooky side, tho that would be more of an inside thing which we dont see in game.

I could see it working as a Cell Shaded style Graphic Novel of a Film.

I don't see the DLC being in it, most likely they will take one or two areas and monsters from the game. You know how these things goes it might be okay or it will be Dredge in name only.

Seen it mentioned on a youtube vid or livestream when they were talking about the dumpster fire that is the Boarderlands movie, they were on about video game movies and Dredge was on the list for upcoming ones

So i checked the wiki page and it said, A live-action film adaptation is being developed by production company Story Kitchen. Might never get made but maybe it will.
