Changing crab pot type

I've purchased a large crab pot. No doubt I'm missing something obvious, but how do I deploy it? When I use the wheel and select crab pots, it only allows me to drop a standard, 'small' crab pot. How do I drop the bigger one that I have in my cargo? TIA.

I'm not sure if there's a method to drop a specific pot, but if you keep clicking the button all of your pots will get deployed.

Ashe is mostly correct. But one method to do what you want is put most of your crab pots in storage and have just the specific one you want in cargo. Drop it and then move another or more from storage to cargo. I recommend researching them all to get the best and then sell the lesser ones.

In the end there's one special one from a puzzle shrine that I prefer over the best bought one. So at one point I had that and three of the best bought one deployed. Then I sold two of the best bought ones after getting what I wanted. It's worth it to repair things to 100% before selling. Otherwise you'll be docked on the sell price more than it would have cost to repair.

Note, that dropping a crab pot into various depths will determine the crab type you can catch, as some dwell within 0-5 metres, others deeper.

There was an area or two where two crabs of an area can only be found at certain spots of exact depth. For example one the maximum depth it could be caught was 16 ft, while another 16 ft was minimal depth, so I found a spot of exactly 16 ft to drop my crab pot. Then after getting one I wanted I dropped in a spot where only the other could be found as long it still said Plenty and not Few.

I hope it's possible to select which title screen. I started with Pale Reach installed so I've only seen other people's screenshots of the original title screen.
