I have played it, and it is a relaxed, exploring game with minor survival and (very-minor) base-building. Not sure it's the vibe you are seeking, but it came right to mind as a similar vibe for me (although I haven't played Dredge yet).

As someone who has played both and loves both horror and crafting/collecting games, these two are not really alike at all. Arctico was ok but I got bored quickly and have only played maybe a few hours of it. Arctico is much slower and more about science and sledding, Dredge is more urgent in pace and is much higher on survival and story. Hope this helps a bit.
Also I'm not trying to stomp all over Nostromo's suggestion, Arctico is fun for a certain audience, just wanted to clear up that they are pretty different games.
I'm currently alternating between Dredge and Sable. In a way, they are polar opposites, yet I kinda feel in the same mindspace with both.
They both are about exploring a map, encountering characters, being sent to new unknown places, in a vaguely esoteric world.
They both feel nautical in a way. Very paradoxical for Sable, as it takes place in a desert, but the desert is treated as a sea : you glide over it (think Bradbury's Mars Chronicles) and you fish in it (yep). As in Dredge, you're tasked with fishing out specific species from different locations.
They both look cartoonish in their way, design-wise, yet efficient at conveying the nature of their world.
And they are radically different, as Dredge is inpired by Lovecraft, while Sable is inspired by Moebius. Dredge is full of dangers, Sable has absolutely none. Dredge is dark, Sable is sunny. They feel like opposite sides of the same coin.
But it's a coin I toss a lot. And I never feel too far from the other side.
So, it depends on which aspects make the similariies you're looking for. As others said, Sunless Sea is very close to Dredge in many regards (I think of Sunless Sea a lot while playing Dredge), but more complex and absolutely ruthless. In contrast, Sable is more casual, and presents little to zero challenge (just some Prince of Persia climbing, with no fall damage). Sunless Sea is brutally challenging. So, it depends on which vibes overlap matter most to you at this time.
Story and survival wise The Red Lantern did it better for me in every aspect, although its more linear. But it has a lot more replay value and random encounters. And liked it´s art style.

Sunless Sea was great. Shame that Sunless Skies just got increasing disappointing as the EA period went on.
