DREDGE
Thanks for telling the player if items disappear or not
I am sure many players knows this:
You play a game, fought some enemies, maybe a miniboss, and you are rewarded with a chest with shiny things but your inventory is full. "ah well, time to sell some things in the next town and come back later" ... after ten minutes you come back - but the chest is gone and maybe the enemies + miniboss are respawned which you have to fight again and the chest which spawns afterwards has different (and worse) loot than before.

Or if a game has lots of different items which you can collect but it won't tell you if you actually need these. So, better put everything in a chest, just to realize at the end that none of the items were needed. Or items which are "junk", "valuables" which are just there so the player can sell these to earn money, but the game doesn't tell that, sooo in the chest it goes, maybe there is a quest for it.

But here in Dredge it either tells you that items will stay and that you can come back later to collect the items or that you need to take items since they will disappear.
If you try to drop an important item, it takes longer and the bar is red, so that the player will be warned and knows he should keep the item. (or, well, if the player is really, really sure, it can be thrown away)

It's also really nice that the travelling merchant sells bombs. At first I was a bit annoyed that I have to travel all the way back to the whaler to buy bombs. But then I saw the travelling merchant also sells bombs. (and even the reaserch gear wheel things)

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

There was only one thing which was quite annoying: Moving/turning the ship veeery slowly, hitting a rock and the engine is destroyed. Even worse that I was not able to buy the Jet Drive Engine despite having it researched.
But overall a nice game. I had my fun.
