How long to finish and is it replayable?

If you play it casually, it is betweet 7-12 hours. As it was made by only four developers, who did a fantastic job, there is not a lot of "secret" content, but there is two different endings, a well crafted story (if you pay attention to it) at it can be replayed. Apart of the storyline it contains catching about ~130 Fish, which remind me of Pokemon. As the current speedrun world record holder I can highly recomment this game, even though it is short, it offers immense fun and there is a lot to uncover.

all jokes aside i have 21 hours with 100%
im guessing i spent about 14 ish hours to finish and 5 ish to 100% the rest is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around

i think the amount of time you spend will change drastically depending on how comfortable you are dealing with threats

once you 100% the game there is not much replayability

i had the same initial concern. all the reviewers said its fairly short, and you see the price point...
its worth the cost. im not finished yet, only been to 3 of the 5 regions and im at like 6/7 hours. there is a lot of stuff to do and some of it isnt immediately obvious where to find. there are oddities to be seen along the way. lets just say i went scavenge a wrecked ship. and found a unique "mudcrab". right now im stuck trying to figure out how to get past a freaking lovecraftian horror sitting near my target.

About 18 hours of gameplay with lots of fishing, exploring and 100%. I enjoyed it a lot.

I'm on 17 hours and not finished. I'm enjoying meandering and exploring and trying to find all the fish. I don't feel rushed. But if you want to just play it and beat it, you can probably do so in the 5-8 hours that people whine about

The youtuber Insym did a playthrough where he completed everything in the game including achievements, all quests, etc in 8 and a half hours.

Unfortunately this isn't a huge game. it could easily spawn DLC and even further interesting games in the same vein - i hope it does. It's a great game but does admittedly feel a bit short - and I'm intentionally trying to spend as much time as i can in the game without devouring the content. I would imagine one could feasibly complete the game in one sitting if you were focused but I would recommend playing it at a leisurely pace and not as if there's no tomorrow.

Thinking about it, there is actually a reason to replay. The dialogue and the story.

After you know how the game can end and collected your thoughts about it there are many things that appear in a completely new light once you know how it wraps up.
