If you use the guides I believe its easy to 100% in like 10 hrs tops. If you dont, it depends on the speed of yours. Nowhere to rush tho, this game isn't about speedrunning.
Now feelin sad because I finished the game and have literally nothing more to do there. I adore this little world and wish there was more. :)
But funny enough when I chose to ignore the central plot in my second playthrough and just treat it as an open world fishing sandbox, I managed to get three good days of value out of it before deciding to bring it to an ending.
If I really wanted to be a completionist (probably won't) I could continue to look for missing fish in the index, finish the fish alter things that I hadn't found all the critters to activate yet, keep hunting for the chest in the map (seriously could not find it no matter how many times I went up and down that square) and I suspect I might have missed activating a few of the obelisks (anyone know if there's a transcript for the text those give around?) and I guess you could 100% all the upgrades you could get and try them out as well if you wanted. If you wanted to do everything, could very likely get over 20 hours in this game, just depends on how you like to play :) . Doing a more focused speedrun instead (which doesn't feel like how the devs intended the game to be played for the first time) I could see it being doable in less than 10 hours.
I am at 6,8hrs right now for my first PT.
I am now starting another run to get the 100%.
Greetz.
