Barrel in twisted strand

I cannot find it anywhere. I've looked up online where they say the location is but nothing.

It should be marked on your map with a big X. Is there a chance you grabbed it before you started the quest? I've seen a few people send it to their storage and forget about it before they realize what it's for.

Its a dredge spot in front of a plane, you literally can't miss it.
You are blind or already have it stored, but could be possible it went overboard if you took damage.

Hi! I'm not OP (and I'm 6 days late) but I had the same issue. Hopped over here, because despite seeing on the known issues that you guys are aware of items going missing (exclusively when upgrading hulls) I didn' find any comment on this particular issue with the twisted strands items.

Now, Op had the issue wih the barrrel. Instead, I do have the barrel, but I'm missing the Frame.
Here's as much detail as I can give you:
1. I got both the Barrel and the Frame before talking to the guy in the center of the islands.
2. I still have my barrel, but I've lost my frame. I believe I discarded it because I confused it with one of the trinkets (the big one with the similar shape). For further note on this, I did not know what it was until I searched for it online, one I saw it I recalled cristal clear that I had in fact dredged it. I believe it's highly likely that I put it on the discard pile as I dredged it because I had my deck full.
3. It's very definitely not in my storage, I've checked three times.
4. As I went to talk to the guy in the center, he mentioned me having "One" of the pieces. I've seen on a stream that talking to him again and asking "What am I supposed to be doing" prompts him into marking both places on the map. On my game, only his location is marked.

If there is any further info I can provide, please let me know.
