Regarding the Stone Tablets pursuit/quest.

I have explored every inch of Devil's Spine I found two stones, I have the one that looks like a 1 and the one the looks like a p. I looked up guides with exact locations and pictures and yet I still can't find this last stone.

So, when you show the Trader one of the Tablets he takes it from you. Thats where the third one was. I guess I'll leave this up in case anyone else gets short term memory loss like me lol.

I don't remember which one had which symbol but I had a similar issue and for me it turned out that the one i was missing was the one you need explosives to reach near the "back" of the lighthouse (as in, on the side opposite of the lighthouse dock). Drove around that area probably close to 100 times and just couldn't find the spot (even with a guide) until i happened to be in the area near sunset so the slight golden glow of the dredge spot stood out a lot more.

If not that one, there's another on the "back" of the island the pontoon is at, so just drift around that small island being careful for ruins and lava piranha things. Pretty much all of them are inside of ruined "rooms" so they can be somewhat easy to miss. The other is next to the larger island right next to the pontoon, on the same side as the pontoon. So i found both of those one much easier than the one near the lighthouse (found the one near the bigger island first before i had any idea that was a sidequest at all).

To be fair though, for the amount of effort put into it, the reward to that one kind of sucks honestly, so I'm not sure it would really be a big deal if you didn't finish it. (a lot of the optional side quests have that issue actually, where the item they give is more like a meh niche reward than anything you actively use constantly. They may be better in some way, but often just don't compete to the stuff you can get normally 98% of the time (except maybe the crab pot).

Yea I was really just doing it for completion. The crab pot reward was super useful though. I didn't use any of the other artifact-y fishing gear to be honest.

I tried out the talisman to, and that one isn't actually bad, but it can apparently be possible to be TOO effective at fishing. You can cut out your ability to get certain trophies if your fishing speed is too high, especially the ones like some of the eels where you already have to hope it actually lets you use the bar that has the trophy's yellow marker on it before you just reel it in. Otherwise, yeah, most the optional awards just aren't that great.

Actually, eel fishing bar isn't random. It switches where it goes based on the direction your little ticker is moving. If moving left, it goes left, if moving right, it goes right. I honestly thought it was random at first to, till I did some experimenting.

there is 3 stone tablets in devil's spine and the trader or collector, i forget which one, has the 4th one :)

Thanks for the hints above. With that help, I finally got all the tablets and like you I was a little disappointed.

With the descriptions of the cave paintings showing the light dispelling a tentacled creature, I had actually hoped getting all the tablets and opening the lighthouse might unlock a third ending or something like that. but it was just more treasure and a boat accessory.
