It's not great, but if you're going for 100% I would just pop in every 2 days while fishing for the remaining fish.
Hmm... I haven't seen that to be the case. Tried just sleeping for two days and it didnt get restocked.
Also it seems like the dredging approach starts to taper off and become less successful in terms of randomly hitting the research parts.
- Go to any dock except Marrows
- Check for research parts
- If there is one there, buy it
- If there isn't any there then go to Menu > Save and Quit
- Press continue
- Repeat from step 2
I was able to get 30 parts in about 40 mins.My guess is that the fewer times you change lanes while dredging increases the chances that you will get a research part. Based on doing it over and over and over at Steel Point it seemed like it was hitting more often at times where the dredging allowed me to stay in just a few lanes.
And I also had a dredge on some wood come up such that I never had to change lanes at all. (was just a solid wheel on the outside with no breaks) and that hit a research point as well.
