All artifacts end game?

Was wondering if collecting all the artifacts is the end of the game or is there more, since I was thinking of getting them quickly to get the different powers but then again I don't wanna rush through the game if it ends after getting all of them, no major spoilers please just yes or no if it ends after getting the artifacts from each main area of the game?

You get to choose when you actually go on the last story mission. The game will warn you several times that doing so will not result in a save to your game, so you will reload right before you decide to embark on the last part.

After you get the 5 artifacts you get a final quest to end the game after turning them in.

You can choose to not do the quest immediately, and even if you do it, it keeps your final save if you wanted to return to play from it.
