Room no way to cross with spike trap

basically the title still not sure how you cross these with all the gold and chests on the other side or is it not meant to be crossed?

You are able to crouch and walk backwards across the pit.

Also you can use your Tablet, Night-vision doesn't matter.

It's literally a newer thing they have added in, being able to cross something that wasn't supposed to be crossed at first, now if you have the tablet and click your RMB to bring it closer to the center of the screen (if preferred just don't click the rmb and it stays in the bottom left) , use it to scan the seemingly uncross-able walkway and you'll find an invisible bridge to cross and collect the items on the other side.

DramaKingKay is wrong, the "crouching and walk backwards" thing is misinformation. No idea where it came from, but I assume it grew out of confirmation bias.

Don't listen to him, he's trying to get you to fail by falling in. Walking backwards does not and has never been a way to cross. The tablet is the only way to do it safely.
