What's up with the "A" vs "B" copies of the board that start on Level 47?
Upon reaching level 47, each board has two seemingly identical "a" and "b" options. I thought that what the tutorial was communicating was either
  1. that from now on, to pass a level I need to complete 2 different solutions on both the a and b options
    or
  2. that from now on, if I can complete 2 different solutions for a level, I will gain extra points for the 2nd solution.
But neither of these seems to be true. Is the idea just that you can "save" a copy of your module placements without resetting completely, or you can pursue 2 different solutions at once and the game will always reward you the higher points for the better solution?
