Plans for a more in-depth and streamlined Scenario Editor and/or Map Editor?
Loving the game so far and loving being able to set up scenarios - it's just with the current system it's quite finicky and there's a lot of back and forth between things to set things up correctly. Having to manually freecam move to players to place spawn points feels like such a waste of time when it's possible to just mouse over maps and set spawnpoints/place units in much older Mission/Scenario Editors (Operation Flashpoint/Arma). I think streamlining these tools into a system that is easier to work with will massively increase replayability of this game and there'll be 10x more people creating scenarios - even people that might not enjoy the FPS aspect but just enjoy setting up scenarios/missions.

Would also allow people to spend hours working on a map. Just spent an hour building up Green side of a map but can't save it and continue building up the Red side another time.. Gotta just get on with it and do the entire scenario all in one go - really not ideal. With a more free system I'm sure people would spend hours designing maps and scenarios.

Also realised I can't save it so if game crashes all the work is gone!

Night/Day timescale would also be great if it could be adjusted, it's currently very fast

Allowing people to pick a side when doing a scenario would also massively increase replayability. Given in the creator you have full control over both sides commands/orders it's sad that it's frustrating that I can only play it from one side!

Thanks for the reply. Loving the game so far. How do I upload scenarios to the workshop though?

Also wanted to ask if the next update planned or updates in general will affect created Scenarios in any way. I have a great idea for an epic scenario/battle but don't want it to go to waste if the next update will make it unplayable. Thanks

new updates shouldn't effect already created scenarios, I always make them backwards compatible.

browse the local files of your game and go to the streaming assets folder in the game files and find the text file for you're scenario. then upload it using this tool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhhK6vxLcCQ&t=31s&ab_channel=JackyBoy

Thanks. Legend dev - uploading a video tutorial within an hour of being asked how to upload to workshop!! Might be worth noting on the Youtube video that the tools can be downloaded through the Discord!
