How to instill the R18 context? I have the exe but I failed to instill. How to solve it?

My question is that my R18 install exe didnt work, it cannot find the game, but I put it right into the place where game is... how to solve it?

Sounds like the game needs to be installed to the C drive for the patch to work.

All my games are on a separate drive (D) and as long as i download to patches to that drive they all work

i installed the game on disk C, but "Game not installed".
IMHO, It's not correct for developers or other to hardcode game directory, user should have possibility to install game on any disk.

But you can just open patch exe file with 7zip and extract files to game directory.

Thank you. The last tip saved me from moving the game to C :D

Yea, it shouldn't have been hardcoded in or at least it can install to the current path it is on.

When I extracted the files, they were two files (that were obviously to copy on the game steam directory) and another directory starting with "$" that I think it must be there for the patch installation executable which I ignored and did not translocate to there.

I think it must have worked 'cos the game appears as patched in the about section (opened by pressing F1 key).

Am I wrong?
