Even more space for horses?
I know the retirement pasture will hold 16 horses after being fully upgraded and I am close to getting the last upgrade but I really feel like a second stable so we can have 24 horses plus the retirement pasture would be amazing... I know, I know that's why we make other saves... But I have a whole thing going with my bloodline and it's getting harder and harder to sell my foals... Please we need more space to hold horses!! PLEASE!!!!! Another stable, pasture... Something... Anything... I love this game so far although I may have played through it a bit quick... Excited for what comes next!!!

I'm already having such a hard time taking care of 12, but I totally agree that more space for horses somewhere would be amazing :')
It's so hard to sell them sometimes, so even just having a way to see them and swap them out (like in the retirement pasture) is really awesome! Even if they aren't all loaded in, it would be cool to have a "catalog" or something

I need a stable with 50 boxes. Just me and my breeding machines ❤

Hi, I am very late to the party, but I just discovered a mod that can make your retirement pasture have 600 spaces for retired horses - the idea is that you can place as many horses as your pc can handle, but the creator said that around 30-40 horses can be enought to start making your game more laggy as every single horse that you will put in retirement pasture, will be visible in it - I saw it on trusted site from witch, I dowloaded few mods for Ranch of River Shine and from witch mine friends also get mods and retexture stuff. NOTE: You need to make a backup of your save file and make shure that it was done correctly as the game MIGHT break/corrupt your save or break some stuff, so (ONCE AGAIN) YOU MUST make backup BEFORE DOWLOADING THE MOD. The mod might also, not work if new big update happend but I think, I might try it at some point.

I also would love more horse space, there is lot of the farm area that is unused and is a waste, the other day i was looking at the area the horses roam in, it is very small and be hide it is a bigger area, like why?? theirs also random huts in the pen not sure why they cant be rebuild into a small sheds for horses

I agree!!! I do not like having to start all over in a new save just to have different horses. Its super annoying an I wont do it. We need more space for more horses. Im pretty much full but there are variations that i still really want but cant have because of space.

I think 15 Horses would be a better amount and would make sense, 2 more at the back and 1 at the front opposite the stable board

I agree! :)

I don't know if this will help you with that issue or not, but I shuffle whos in my stable pasture. Sometimes I turn them all out if they don't have potential left. It honestly just depends on how much potential is left. I say this but I have yet to see my horses lose potential while in the pasture attached to the stable I like turning them out because it helps feed them yes you have to brush them but you can get away with not brushing them as often while they're out. I find that it's a great way to save some of your bedding as well as feed because they eat while they're out in the pasture and it helps save a little bit of time going through all 12 of them so I usually have a stallion in each small pasture and then the Mayors get the large pasture and then sometimes I keep all the Stallions in and let all the girls have every pastor yes I'm a little bit nuts about this game 🤣 I'm soothing my inner child.. I hope this helps though!

The sheds really get to me because the horses don't even go into them not in the main pasture and not in the retirement pasture! I also wish that the main pasture was larger especially since I feel like the breeding pasture could be located in a different place to give more space to the actual pasture since the breeding pasture isn't really functional outside of breeding 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think what they should have done is made the indoor arena a final upgrade for the original arena in the middle of the farm and then where they have the indoor arena they could have put a second barn and then had pastures on that side because that seems to be pretty open!
This is one of the top most requested features! I know Eloise knows about it, I believe she will try to finish up the road map before adding another feature. I could be totally wrong though, she always surprises us in the best way.

In the meantime, there is a mod that allows 600 spaces for the retirement pasture. Just be aware that however many horses you put in that pasture, they will ALL show up. This will cause your PC to have a bit of a lag when playing the game. I have only about 35 in the pasture. I haven't had any issues but make sure to make backup saves so you don't lose anything. It's common for that mod to give you a "fatal error" warning when opening the game, but if you close it and continue opening the game it will run. Usually takes 2-3 tries for me but I'm not complaining cause I want the space! The mod is on nexus
