Does anyone else have a problem with absurd desync constantly?

I cant play more than one match after starting the game before its almost impossible to actually tell whats going on. A shot will miss miss but hit anyways, and blocking doesn't actually do anything for half a second. I like the game as a concept but its starting to piss me off how inconsistent every match is. Is there anything I can do about it or is it just something I have to deal with?

There's always going to be some desync, the way the game functions afaik:
If you hit someone on your screen, they will get hit on theirs' and vice versa.
If you block on their screen, you will block the bullets. What you block on your screen doesn't matter.

If you're experiencing a lot of latency in every game though, it might be somewhat related to your own connection.

Check your internet speed. If you're on wifi, try a wired connection.
If you have a VPN, try using a more local connection.

Yeah the update seems to have made desync 10x worse. It used to be a small issue before but it wasn't even that noticeable. Now so many shots just constantly hit when there's no reason for them to have done so. Don't know why but it seems to be the update's fault.

Nope, gonna have to use mods for more than 2 people.

unfortunately most online landfall games have massive desync issues and i have never seen any of them get fixed
