Friend can't join

when i go onto my game on modded and invite my friend to play (he's on thunderstore as well) it always just says connecting or he does join but as *player* and it just goes blank on his screen. Please help, me and him just wanna hang out.

I'd assume your mods may not be at the same versions or you have different mods enabled from what they do or vice versa
best course is to make a copy of your modlist (thunderstore lets you make a code to do this) and have them copy the code and make a modlist from that to launch with

I have the same issue as well with 1 of my friends, for everyone else it works fine. I don't know how to fix it.
