This is also not an early access game or a subscription game, you pay 5$ for a finished game.
but at the same time, it can be frustrating if the game disconnects randomly. (and it has more issues.)
I can understand that the developers don't want to spend the development time to fix it. I don't think they would recoup those cost. it is a valid business decision. cheap game: may contain bugs
But to be honest: if the developers are fine with one of their games randomly disconnecting. Then I won't buy another game from them. What if the next game has similar issues and I find out 3 hours in? Not going to risk my money on that. I think that is a valid consumer decision.
Will there be updates for this game in the future? For us players, this game definitely feels more than just a "side project". I am sure every player is eager for any update to this game whether it be just more balance updates or adding more cards/different gamemodes (such as 2+ player modes). I definitely think there is a market for more sales if this game continues to be developed.
