Paradox Class Design
Marksman Issue: He can clean trenches with pistol as secondary and act as assault, while also chilling at the back with scoped bolt action and pick off enemies, but iron sight weapons make no sense, as he acts neither as spotter (mountaineer class) nor as infantryman (typical grunt class)
Solution: Give him no bolt action, so to make the class truly limited by the weapon amount limitation (1 per team) , let him keep the pistol but reduce ammo, also give him binoculars maybe with limited use.

Mountaineer: maybe make him more defensive, give the faster ADS time weapons to infantry or assault in general, and give him the slower ads guns. also give the infantry/assault the increased running speed and give assault at max 2 grenades to reduce grenade spam.

Assault: make support class with the MG´s, since they are very slow and barely worth in close quarters combat, making assault with MG equipeed worse than mountaineer for assault role.
MG assault people are to be used primarily as support. that classes only benefit is to swallow from the canteen and get stamina boost, but even that takes so long, barely anyone does it. either make it very quick or get rid of it and redesign assault class.
Yet the MG´s are too defensive in general and as they are designed to be campy that is correct, but also why assault is actually an SUPPORT class.
Yet the pistol is too aggressive with too assault class. I don´t know..... maybe limit pistols to TRUE assault classes. Which means, make assault truly assault with pistoils, increased movement speed, increased weapon sway and less accurate pistols to balance out assault.

Make officer pistols less sway and more accurate and also faster ads than assault pistols. Make support class machine guns faster bipod deployment time with a BIT less bullet drops on italian side, but not faster ads time.

Additional Info: I know you have some soiphisticated engineers in your team, pls make it so my AMD Rx480 doesn´t drop from 100 fps at 900p low settings to suddenly 42 fps on my 144hz screen whenever gas or smokes or artillery happens. Also the picture in picture for the sniper scope is much appreciated, but during QA, this shouldn´t have happened: nontheless the performance is atrocious in PiP with a sniper scope. maybe optimize that a bit more so i can at least have a steady 60 fps on and AMD RX480 at low 900p? also, great work on the game, love it. it´s just performance, and class balancing i hate. level design is the best yet and so is the rest. definitely needs more weapon and map variety though. keep it up!

TL;DR:
infantryman is fine, so is officer and so is the rest. i just feel like i want feedback from you all on why assault is called assault when it´s a class you play defensively most of the time and why mountaineer as a spotter who sits in the back mostly charges and runs into action due to his reflex time advantage and faster running speed.

You sure we are playing the same game?
-Assault is a very aggresive class. The lmgs are in the class because assault troops were the kind of guys in need of those the most! It wouldn't have carabines, grenades and pistols has primaries if it wasn't mean to be a cqb combattant. But maybe a class synergizing with itself is a concept you have trouble grasping?
-Hmm yes, the marksman is good with rifle and pistol, almost like he's a sharpshooter... weird.
Meanwhile engineer (gaming) has the same loadout, and basically does the job just as good, if not better, because it has acess to carabines.
-The mountaineer class is based on the bersaglieri/alpini and the alpenjägers, which are... light infantry specialzed in reconnaisance and forward guard fighting. So it is normal it is quite fast and nimble, it is not supposed to sit around at the back and pick people off, it is a forward fighter.

You seem to lack basic understanding of the history of the conflict, which makes you wonder why X is X and make you have really weird ideas for people who have a basic understanding of the history of ww1 which is important because the ww1 game series is an historical aracade shooter game series.

- Marksman. Agreed. I’d like some regular binocs for Marksman. Binos that don’t spot/flag enemy locations. These would be nice for sniping when you don’t have the scoped rifle.

- Rifleman. The ammunition resupply system needs a total overhaul. I’ve never played a game where it’s next to impossible, or totally impossible, to resupply an item that’s core to your class mechanic. I’m redeploying my Officer for flares and Assault(when I use the Machine gun)for ammo at least 10+ times a match because rarely is anyone ever building ammo crates or handing out ammo. And YES, I do run Rifleman, I DO build ammo crates and I resupply players as well as resupply static weapons(mortars and HMG)

I've always thought that 3 grenades for the assault class with that perk was a little much.
I thought you're only supposed to get extra 3rd nade when you spawn by a grenade box, i think thats what the perk says. but you always get that extra grenade anyway.

Also peeved that the officer has a horrible challenge to unlock a rifle (Germans get it right away!)

The mountaineer's carbine is also a beast. would be curious to see it on other classes as well.
