throw a grenade and die: the simulator
i mean is anyone really surprised when every soldier can get 2-3 grenades in this game? add on resupply and theyre 5... and to add a little more salt to the wound arty is also ridiculously OP... as soon as you spawn expect a 90% chance to die in the next 10 seconds... from arty or a grenade
every game turned into a pissing match of who can throw the most grenades into the objective.
devs please fix this the game is unplayable

The grenades could use some addressing. Perhaps a limit of how many grenade-owners (just like marksmen with scope) can be present in the company, and maybe a maximum amount of used grenades per wave of offense/defence?

-1 grenade on every class and -1 grenade resupply, possibly a cap on how many players can carry too like marksman and machinegun caps

why would it ruin the game? it was fine before every player unlocked grenades and started spamming them

I think it is okay the way it is. In many instances in my playtime, grenades were important to soften up the defenses. I also died more often due to rifle shots, than nades.
Never seen a real grenade spam yet.

But that's just my 2 cents.

just finished 2 games where the only way to win was to spam nades because the other side was doing the same. its not important it just shifts the game from a shooter to a nade spamming game, also if you want to see a proper nade party go play the objective and dont stay way back :P

It seems to me, too many complain, because they just die on the battlefield.
Same with the thread about the HMGs.
When I mount one, I try to take down as many enemies, until I get shot. I don't expect the game to protect me from that.

No it wasn’t, this game will be on a projectory to have zero players in a couple months if the wrong decisions are made. This game is actually in a very bad situation I think, so it cannot withstand a bad balance change. Look, in Verdun’s system, the people who would carry the most grenades were melee mains. But in Isonzo’s system, anyone can carry grenades, even people with light machine guns can spam grenades which is actually a big problem. They need to make the other perks better because there is little practical reason to not use the grenade crate perk as assaulter.
every ww1 game follows the same pattern, look at tannenberg. truth is, these games dont retain many players no matter what decisions the devs make, thats just how it is most of the time with ww1 games, what matter though is for it to be fun for the time being

I've definitely notice that on some maps. Luckily the devs said they were looking into making some adjustments in one of the next updates.

Nade spam is the same with the cry about artillery, it usually only gets messy if there are few tickets left and everybody rushes to the cap in a hail mary. But these exact situations for me are the most intense and fun to play. Everything shakes, everything explodes, everybody screems and after a real fight one side wins, fantastic! Don't take another step like turning down screenshake to make this game an even bigger camp fest.

hopefully, and I don't think they do, the devs don't *just* listen to the loudest complainers and are aware most folk don't post as they're "alright" about many situations/issues.

if the devs have managed to release their third game they can't be all that incompetent to knee jerk react to the first complaint.

I think the devs are best at judging how they want their game to be but welcome constructive feedback.

its not a minority, and just because you didnt witness it doesnt mean it doesnt happen. people just get frustrated and quit the game most of the time, screenshake was also a problem so why dont you start giving some feedback for the game instead of "it didnt happen to me" copypaste
nobody likes a death simulator, if thats how you like it fine, but dont assume you are the majority, the majority quit the game long ago after getting frustrated time and time again, playerbase dropped by half in just a few days, why the hell would i play if ill get exploaded randomly everytime i spawn
