Personally, I'd be fine with a bit more screen shake/suppression from arty, and possibly map-based changes to the cooldown, to take into account how much of it (and how much ammunition for it) was readily available on the various battlefields.
Devs, nerf mentality is the bane of gamers. It means you are constantly making everything that is fun, less fun. At some point, too little fun remains.
Sure, screen shake bothered me in the sense it made it difficult to aim during the shaking. But it felt immersive and knowing my enemies were suffering the same shaking alleviated any frustrations. I liked it the way it was.
I've been mostly playing officer, sometimes spending a lot of time surveying the battlefield in preparation for a call in. (By the way, completely unrelated, WHY DO BINOCULARS TAKE THE SAME SPOT AS FLARE GUN FOR OFFICER? THIS IS MENTAL. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RETARDED.) but I've never had the feeling of getting too many calls ins available, especially when attacking. Some people are just angry that they do not realize you can actively watch and listen for any and all call ins and avoid their effect, if you so desire. And death is part of the game, when 120 bombs drop all around you. It is rather OP, but it's once every 5-10 minutes, so whatever.
I just know I'm going to hate this game a few weeks or months from now, if not sooner. And it'll be because of all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the community about every little thing they dislike or simply haven't gotten used to yet, and the weak ass devs caving to these demands since they don't have a mind of their own when it comes to these matters, apparently.
Dude, look whatever the feeling is, do NOT bring this to me on consoles. They rejected my refund only after two days, and four hours play, and now I HAVE to be stuck with this as well. We on consoles never got to "vote" for these changes, and so it better NOT come to us. Please leave it, AS IS.
Yep, Torn Banner did this on Chivalry 2 and murdered the game. Even back before Steam.
Some players had issue with the screenshake during art so they nuked it.
It's too extreme, it needs better adjustment which will probably happen with time.
Yap, but don't pretend we don't have to keep shouting.
It's become pretty obvious you are in the hands of your player base, rather than being lead by your own vision. Almost every time I see this, I see the game turn to ♥♥♥♥ overtime.
