Wow. I played the beta versions of Verdun, which became one of my favorite games of all time. I dumped countless stressful hours in those trenches. Zab was the top shelf player from the very beginning of this series. I don't know what to say. He wrought hell but you could get him if you knew the map well. I bought Isonzo the day it came out.. found it a bit cheesy compared to Verdun.. was about to re-install it to see how it had developed.. then see that a campaign was waged against the best player who ever played this series and got him banned? Well, glad you guys finally obtained the large player base you wanted... not much else to say. Adios. Verdun will always stand next to Doom and Hexen as my favorite fps'

This was the reason given for his ban:
"In response to numerous reports of disruptive behavior, including instances of griefing and toxic communication across multiple channels, we have taken decisive action in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy."

Oh I read that as well. Sounds more like... there are countless people saying they wont play anymore unless he is banned, so they used a "zero tolerance" maneuver to make sure the money kept coming in. How subjective zero tolerance is. Why let one guy mess with the bottom line. Honestly, I shouldn't even be yapping about this, it's clearly old news and already dealt with. Enjoy all, sorry for venting.

Why not just ban him on the discord server and steam forums as well as limit his communication on the game?
If you really think the problem is just the way he communicates with others...

The message also mentioned griefing, which is not communication exclusive.

And now the game is coming out on PC Game Pass, and he can just play it on there. I remember Zab from the beginningst of Verdun, but he was admittedly just a literal kid then. I'm glad to see he still plays, but cmon dude, you gotta grow out of this kid mentality.

I just pay against bots these days, so i haven't run into him, but he should pride himself of being the best player this franchise ever created, and just tone it down. But something tells me, Xbox is next to get a taste of the Zabster lol.

What did he even do?
As far as i've played on the same server as him other than being a frequent target of (un?)justified cheating accusations there was nothing wrong with him.
How do you even grief in the game? other than maybe gassing the spawn and trying to block access with barbed wires i can't think of a way you could help the other team.
