How's single player offline bots?

You are able to unlock weapons, as long as "Advanced Settings" are turned off. You'll only see this when creating a custom game.

Do you know if the game can be played truly offline, or is it like MW3 where you can play with bots but HAVE to be connected to the internet?

Just remember to set you Server region to Offline. It'll be in the upper right corner, with a globe icon
