How to build ammo crates, for class challenge?

I'm trying to pass the "build 5 crates on respawning points" challenge but I can't understand how to do it - I read somewhere here that I need to equip a showel, and with RMB pressing there will be construction menu opening. However, I tried to press RMB with it everywhere around respawn points of my team (like those marked with flags on map), and nothing happened at all.

You need to have a specific perk equipped in order to build ammo crates. Then, spawn, shovel out, go near forward post, build crate.

Also, it is not for challange - it's near to mandatory, thus your m-gunners and commanders can play too.

Hey! Problem was that I didn't equip the perk :-)
