Isonzo, music and traditional songs from the Alpini

Verdun and Tannenberg had royal marches and so on as far as music in game went, as short jingles shortly after starting a game. I suspect Isonzo will have a similar approach.

That said, the Alpine front had its very specific type of music. More specifically, the Alpini (the army corps) had their own songs with a very distinctive style. It'd be great if some of it could be put in game. Also, someone in this forum might find them interesting so I'm going to post a few of my favourites.

They are all sung, no instruments are involved (not easy to carry instruments when you're climbing), and its themes tend to be about spirituality, the majesty of the mountains, and quite a bleak sense of sacrifice and stoicism. Military and patriotic themes are generally notably absent.
