Names is always going to be hard to market no matter what. Name Verdun isn't that well know from my experience either.
You split the playerbase with these new games...didnt you learn from tannenberg?
so how did tripwire do it with RO2/RS then? price tag for that oen was never $60.
As for Isonzo and Tannenberg it could have been made as a DLC for Verdun in first place and players could play on every map, but still be limited to some most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ squad in a DLC meaning if they wanted something better they had to pay for it.
Sounds as a great marketing option and doesnt split the playerbase either, everyone gets what he wants.
It would also still have split the player base as they had very different game modes with different set ups.
It also then limits what can be done as you are restricted to a game that first hit Steam in 2013.
