Is crouching / predkour makes Preds totally invisible for others ?

I try to find advantages of playing Predator cause he is almost without chances vs fireteam. I read somewhere that crouching wihout any movement makes preds totally invisible but I dont know if its true.

crouching or going into predkour won't change anything, you just have to stop moving for a bit to become totally invisible to the fireteam's eyes, but the time needed to become invisible depend of the class you're using, you'll still make noises so don't let them play a red october hunting with you :)

standing still is what make you totaly invisible
but be carefull to not use your thermal vision because your eyes while glow yellow for a sec revealing your position

Also if the fire team sprays rounds in the direction they last saw you or they hear you making your little preddie noises, they'll see blood splatter when a round hits you, and they'll mark you so everyone else knows where you are. Use total invisibility sparingly, you're still able to be found effectively by experienced fire team players.

Also, using noise decoys can help a lot, since it gives the fire team false directions to hunt you based on listening.

The best strategy is not to rely on being still, but instead to rely on being hard to locate. Move around, use cloak both on and off, and most importantly put the fire team on the defensive. Attack them. Make them afraid.
