Love the update (AI Predator)

I played private map as fireteam, I like that the team has bots to fill missing players in offline. And the AI Predator really adds a lot of replayability to this game.

Are you sure there's an AI predator now? If so, how do you play against it? I just tried playing an offline game with bots and no predator showed up, unfortunately.

To tell you the truth im not 100% sure now. I'm confused. I played for a short time yesterday as fireteam in private offline match. About 10 mins of playing and completing objectives, I my team was under fire by what looked like the plasma balls from the Predator shoulder cannon. I could see anything so I thought it was cloaked. A little bit after this the game crashed to desktop.

I tried again today, as fireteam in offline private and I didn't see any Predator after leaving the game running for over an hour.

Now I am not sure.

Hmm, if that was a bug, it sure is a weird one. Maybe the devs are experimenting with an AI predator? I know this has been requested by many on these forums and personally, I'd love the introduction of one. Either way, thanks for the info!

I think you got a preview like a beta?

In any case, for my part, I cannot change the language of the game and my fireteam and hunter equipment have disappeared!

I still have my player level but I have to redo everything in terms of equipment...

If the developers are experimenting with an AI Predator, the game remains unplayable for me for the moment.

We will try to have a nice day, a nice week and wait patiently for another update that will resolve the issues encountered.

Hey I'm not sure what happened. But if Illfonic really adds the AI predator this game will light up like a fire alley.

I joined a public match yesterday and when I pressed tab to see what pred I was up against, it showed 2 predators in match, 4 fireteam members. 1 Pred was alive the other said Dead. Made me wonder if maybe we will someday get a 2vs8 or 2vs4 (where pred is nerfed to compensate for 2 of them) or maybe it was just a bug... I took a photo of it too.

I completely agree.
An AI Predator in multiplayer would be a Plus if the player is unavailable or leaves the game.

Illfonic will probably do it in a "stealthy" manner, like how the bots in private matches actually moves now when playing as the predator instead of either just standing in their spawn or following the predator like lost puppies, which was not in the patchnotes IIRC.

It's not wrong.
Additionally, there are impossible trophies in multiplayer.

They're probably creating an AI Predator to earn these trophies in single player.

I'm thinking, for example, of deactivating the bomb or damaging the Predator's mask.
