BALANCE ISSUE
Yes, we all know they exist, and we all know what the OP Pred looks like. Standing in the middle of a fireteam and cutting them to pieces because bought class or max-level perks....

The problem is, it's you folks killing the small gamerbase that is left, and the small additions this game does get. It's so easy to win with Pred, or at least kill half the team and match XP, so I'm not sure what it is that makes some of you kids go super-sweat and then teabag as a Predator. You're really not that good, it's really not that hard, and the higher level you get the more OP the weapons become vs. new players.

The paid classes are also broken AF sometimes. Some of their stats being simply absurd, and weapons being ridonkulous.

The only way this game is super fun is if you have a classy Predator, that can determine his ability to steamroll a squad, and having some self-control and not laying them flat with a plasma caster in the first objective because "Look, my perk says more damage from ranged, while cloaked, and everyone is alive! TEAM KIIILLLLL", so please take this into consideration when signing up for Predator.

If you truly enjoy playing, please stop killing the player-base by sweating so hard on an asym game. There's never been good balance in one, and it relies on the players to keep it somewhat enjoyable. Sure, win every round, but at least give the guys a chance if you're working them THAT hard.

Oh, last thing, before anyone "skill issues" this.... Sure, some of it is skill, but when you can stand in the middle of 3 dudes with shotguns (and extra Yautja damage perk) and STILL win the fight with a melee weapon as they reload, that's unbalanced. No Predator takes a shotgun in the mouth and lives, they're not bulletproof, and I often find myself letting the ground team regroup as even the basic Predator because it's simply so easy to knock 'em down most of the time.

Opposite enough I quit cause the fireteam always blew me to bits when i go in cause you can body block in doors or the spotting is insanely easy.

Right. That's my problem with the game. It's all perks and paid for classes. Just look at the stats on the classes in game. There are definitely OP setups, and the defense and damage perks at later level get ridiculous.

I literally had a fireteam member stand infront of me with a knife and take 10 Predator Ax shots to the mouth, and still knock me down first. Super solid.

Problem is, you people are really bad. A half decent team, would annihilate like 95% of predators in this game.
If 4 people are shooting at the pred and he does not melt, its a aiming problem. You actually need to hit him to do damage. Now don't contradict me, you are NOT hitting him if 4 people does not melt him in like 3 seconds flat. Even 2 people that are good at this game, would destroy any predator that would be dumb enough to actually try to melee them. Parry is insanely powerful if you know how to do it as well as know how to circle the pred as you do it. I've soloed a lot of predators that tried to melee me with nothing but the knife. Obviously if the predator is actually good, you are not winning a 1v1 but 2v1? With a predator that tries to only melee? He is so dead. The only valid tactic predators have IF he is facing a decent team, is leaping constantly and using the bow. Melee is a death sentence.

All the DLC classes are not OP on both sides. Some classes are better then others but not OP by any means.

Predators are only OP against nobs.

Here's a tip. Don't use shotguns, go with SMGs, much better. Use the hammerhead and the first SMG (forgot its name). Don't use silencers. Best and easy class (from my POV) for new players is the support. Get the perk with more health. Get med kits and ammo bags. Make sure you have field medic.
The guy that is being attacked in melee by the predator should be able to hold it for a substantial amount of time before ending up dead, Use parry with HEAVY ATTACKS (more parry frames) and don't move back, circle the predator, move left or right. Most melee attacks move the predator forward. Don't try to parry heavy attacks from the axe, just get out of the way.

Cool story, way to state the obvious (other than the SMG, amazing how a shotgun would suck x4 at point blank range.) And I quite literally SHOULD still have (may have faded off the cloud) footage of a single marine standing still for 8-10 ax shots to the mouth while swinging his knife in return, no blocking. Super skill-based. 100% high IQ.

A single human should NOT be able to melee a pred to death, period. Sorry that's hard to understand.

On the other hand, I didn't say skill wasn't an issue for most teams, what I said was there are OBVIOUSLY overpowered things in the game, to include specific classes. Thanks for trying to elite-shame everyone though.

You seem to be forgetting that i am still a new player but dont try to act smart when you dont even ask if i know about parrying, shooting from trees and cover and the like. That doesnt stop the spot from being super easy and me melting through my medkits and getting chased down a mile down the map to get a chance to eat pigs. Theres only so many perks that help survivability against the 4 different hail of bullets and by so many i mean 2. One that only works with your back turned, so when running away, and one that just reduces it and i still will melt and that is at the cost of perks i would actually want to run so i can enjoy the neat predator themed items at least.
I wonder why this game is dying.

Shotguns are mostly uses for killing NPCs. You are better with the hammerhead (AR) gunning the pred and using hte shooty for NPC but making any build for the NPC is not a good idea.

Back when I used to play (I don't anymore) I was only decent, the really good FT players like Arrow where far better then me. I am just stating that the vast majority of teams are really that bad that a predator can jump on them and melee most of them down. That is the issue, not OP this or that.

The predator losing in melee is also a skill issue, yes, a predator should not lose to a melee fight BUT he should have some skill to win. if someone knows how to parry and he is not the last man in the game, trying to melee him down before help comes, its a very bad idea. Switch to plasma caster and shoot his ass up from close range. If he switches to his gun, quickly melee with your wristblades.

I wonder why this game is dying.

In case you did not notice I did not quote you, I quoted the guy who made this post. I don't mind people asking for tips but creating topics and saying how you can't win because this or that is OP its another thing.
I also don't need to ask you anything, more so when I was not even talking to you. If you need tips,, you make a post asking for them, I am sure people will provide them.

Now to address this post. Here are some tips. Don't waste medkits, use pigs, They spawn all the time, just keep track of the enemy team so they don't ambush you when you eat pigs. When you go there (where the pigs are) kill as many as you can but don't waste to much time. Someone you do get unlucky with spawns but most times they spawn in the area.

Spotting is very strong but its so because people like the OP are not good at the game and if you remove that, they get steamrolled. To avoid it, approach the team from the ground, don't leap, block line of site as you approach. Shooting from trees is also not a good idea against a decent team. They will sniper your ass so hard its not even funny. You need to use the bow and constantly keep moving by leaping and trying to get only 1 guy that can shoot at you. 4 people shooting at you its a death sentence if they can aim.
Playing predator is insane hard against a competent team, like really hard.
Melee is also a death sentence, don't approach in melee unless its just 1 guy. Only ranged fire.
If its the map inside the cave and someone also has those motion trackers... Boy you're screwed as the predator.

Now try to read my post AGAIN, if nothing else my first sentence about how many preds go down to a decent FT. Never did I say its easy to pred, its actually the other way around. The only time its easy to pred, its against NOOBS. My entire post was about the fireteam and not predator.
