If you don't like bots, don't use them and find people to play.
Some of us, doesn't have the spare time to wait 10 minutes to play a single game as a predator and prefer to have bots, even if they are far from perfect (or far from good)
so, all you will play as the predator, would be a Left 4 Dead in where the survivor isn't leaving the safe zone, but you're automatically spawned and will only be able to go in ranged because if you come too close you'll be on low health quickly due of the overpowered accuracy i've told you about.
It is NOT that bots are not necessary in this game. They have to improve them obviously, but not remove them.
1) for the predator, it would mean that killing a specific player would mean nothing, because that specific player could just take over one of the surviving AI and be fully geared up with all of its health, so, like Matrix when the Agent Smith can morph from anyone to end up fighting Neo again.
2) they're still in an alpha/beta stage, and having added them in that state is, for me, unacceptable, because you can't just add something that's obviously so broken that it still need a lot of works, in an fully released game, this is why i want their removal, to be either thrown out or be reworked in private from the public.
3) anyone can take over the Ais, so it would be bad that someone that haven't enough of skills (or experience), singlehandely waste all of them while the experienced players could have used better their take overs, instead of doing their own personal things like rushing throught the predator like i do often, to be sometime killed quickly.
4) bots aren't humans, when someone get downed, a human player would watch if the area is secured to make sure he would get safely his mate back on its feet, but the bots are too obsessed about getting the downed back on its feet, so the predator player could just wait the AIs to come and use his ranged weapons against them, because the AIs have somewhat a limited range in where they can shoot, i have done a private game with some two friends (one took the predator), and when the AI #1 got downed, the AI #2 just stopped everything to revive his mate, while he was being claimed.
so, maybe removing them completly from the game would be drastic, but they shouldn't force us to get them in public, they still need a lot of work, so maybe even temporarly removing them for that would be better, so we'll get proper working and fair AIs, instead of inflicting unfair games to both sides.
That would imply that they have an AI programmer on staff when they clearly don't.
These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ can't even do simple pathfinding. No, not the bots. Illfonic.
I didn't know it worked that way as i play usually solo games.
So, if there's bots in public games, you are completely right. I thought that bots were only available in solo Predator games.
So what you are actually asking for is an option for players to ban bots when queueing for a game - waiting time would increase but it would be guaranteed bot-free once it started, right?
I assume there is no AI predator currently implemented, or is there?
I love Predator franchise so I follow news about this game but as I am a strictly solo player (as in no alive pvp nor coop) I am postponing my purchases till the game gets functional bots (if ever). News about fireteam bots added were for me unexpected and exciting but I see it is still far from fully functional. And given the state of matchmaking there seems to be no incentive whatsoever for devs to implement a predator bot.
Why never consider a peaceful solution? Developer provide a option to toggle & filter what you see in the game? Win win situation, rather than demand everyone follow your way for gaming.
Human will love to join the crowd, which mean:
Crowded game ≠ Good game
Good game ≠ Everyone love it
Everyone love it ≠ The entire human being no matter what age, genre or skill.
New released game; crowd last for 3-8 months
World top PvP game; crowd remain for 5-10 years
