Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game

This game will be fun but it won't last
Looking back at my time with F13 previously made by this dev, that game was fun despite all of the problems and there was a lot

Killer Klowns is an awesome IP and lesser known. That in of itself will warrant the $40 when you're paying for that IP although it shouldn't be as much as F13 was at launch considering how much more expensive that IP is

The lobby system of preference and forced to play whatever side you're given just won't work. Look at other games. Players will be willing to wait for whatever role they want. Especially when you're gonna play with friends, it just won't work when your friends are separated

At the end of the day my prediction is that people will like the game, it will be fun but the problems with it won't warrant the price. The game will go on sale 50% off three months after it comes out

Its not gonna work

Have fun with the game but keep your expectations low and understand its an experience you can enjoy for a limited time before its dead

TSCM sends its regards

I find it strange that it needs pointing out a simple fact that... Illfonic is a publisher...not a dev team, Teravision is the dev team here, put your blame in the right place at least and blame GUN for TCMs failure.

Friday the 13th was doing just fine until the lawsuit happened even with the preference system you say won't work when it already .."did work" before.

Sounds more like just an excuse to say bad cuz you don't wanna try and be good at both sides or understand how both works like some dbd survivor main who screams about how op killer is everytime they die : P

That is hilariously false.

Sure, it lost some playerbase like any game does but it was nowhere near dying in 2 months.

If you consider games losing players to a degree normally after a couple of months then all games must be dying within 2 months to you I assume.

Elden ring must be a dying game right? Just look at that lower playerbase it had after 2 months...

Fine but Elden Ring wasn't a live service multiplayer game
Losing 14k+ players after 3 months is not a good look for a live service game, tho it could live longer with that small community

That's quite an alternate world you live in where f13 lost that much playerbase in 3 months...I need to see actual numbers instead of made up ones, thanks.

Any post without actual factual numbers will be disregarded, just a warning.

Also kind of weird to be throwing such a fit about f13 when you have a positive review for it and a incredibly negative review of TCSM... Just being negative for negatives sake I guess here?
Have you ever heard of stem charts?
See it for yourself, if there's one person that lives in a different world, it's you, no offense

First, steam charts are only for steam exclusively, not counting consoles or any other pc related store page. So this is not the actual numbers to determine how and if the game was dying even for pc. You need to provide all numbers.

second, 16k at all time did not drop down by 14k in 3 months still as you claimed it so your own evidence provided just called you a liar as well.

Third, A game is not losing players if the player count is constantly jumping and dropping, a lost player count stays pretty close to the same all the time...

fourth, If you use steam only as your data for if a game is dead or not, then you are really not someone trustworthy for any form of statistics.

Fifth, I can also tell you a game is not dead just cuz it has under 1k player base as plenty of mmos still live today have less than 300 daily.

Also if your directly just counting the peak players, that's not the important part, the important part is the Average players count which...actually stayed pretty steady throughout most of f13s lifetime.

Wanna prove me wrong with factual numbers that work directly against you again?

I assure you that people seen this same game over and over again on these kinds of threads and it's well known that steam charts is never an actual evidence cuz it only gives info on one very small variable.

"16k at all time did not drop down by 14k in 3 months still as you claimed it so your own evidence provided just called you a liar as well"
lol
16k -13.5k = 2.5k
It's literally there, in the charts history
If you want to believe F13th is alive & popular, that's on you, I'm not going to force you to live in the real world
Bye

Yawn.... Still counting peak players as if it was the actual stats and showing like usual that your not someone who understands how to read steamcharts even... and even failing basic math on it as well...

Just gonna report you for trying to start fights and ignore as your just here to be negative obviously.

i think this game will be hella fun, but you are right, people always argue that these games wont die, but they all do, friday 13th i know was shut down cause of a lawsuit but i checked around on posts when it was first announced and tones of people were still saying the game was basically almost dead anyway, only hardcore players were still active, resident evil resistance died after a year, texas chainsaw isnt doing well now and will probably be shut down in a year or less, evil dead was shut down like a year later, last year is dead, video horror society is dead, predator hunting grounds is dead, outlast trials is doing ok, i think itll last longer but i do not think it will actually last, this one wont be any different

I'm getting tired of people comparing this game to TCM! They are only similar in terms of genre just like how maybe a shark is similar to a dolphin because they both live underwater, but they are very different beasts entirely!

In TCM, you can't fight back as survivors.. You can't shoot a gun, you can't hit a bat, you can't really do anything to fight back except maybe football tackle someone, and if you really wanted to, you can go mess with the old man that likes to drink blood. But Killer Klowns has MUCH more freedom instead of running around with your pants down, pooping in the corners like a scared rabbit.

Evil Dead The Game send its regards? lol

Yea I love playing these kind of games like TCM and Evil Dead but honestly its best to bumrush them for the first three+ months because they tend to stop being fun once the meta develops...not to mention the exploits that can take way too long for the devs to fix.
