How did this game die so fast??

I dont get it, the only problem really seem to be the price, but to be honest, this game is so well balanced, its honestly refreshing to see a game that doesnt seem too op on one side. Yes humans have power but klowns realistically can fight back esp if they call for backup.

Yes, it is very buggy. No I don’t think it’s incredibly unbalanced, could use some tweaking but if you’re good on either side you’ll be doing work. They’ve added team preference, which was needed.. the game is around a month old. TCM is coming up to almost a year old, DBD is almost 10 years old.. KK needs time, should it if you’re paying 40 for a game should it “need time”? Absolutely not. Unfortunately we live in an age where passion is void in the industry and it’s about pushing out unfinished product to meet investor deadlines and we either see the developers continue to patch/update the game or they don’t and it dies entirely. Killer Klowns is FAR from a dead game, and to only reference steam for the player base is ignorant. I love the game and continue to enjoy it, but my advice is if you’re interested but on the fence from reviews and such give it some time and see what happens. Everyone loves TCM now but before they started even touching it people hated it as well.

I like this game, TBH what killed TCM for me is new characters costing $10 a pop, thats just insane

yeah after downloading I did the quickplay thing and was autopicked to Clown. I then found a survivor (keep in mind ive got no idea what im doing I just saw videos of people putting people in the little cocoons and then carrying them somewhere) so as I start lasering this human they just whip out a weapon and practically insta kill me with a few swings then proceed to teabag me

SOON after that I get the notification that 4 people escaped on a boat somewhere so that was cool I suppose

next match I auto queued as human and after helping some other dude fight off a clown (couldnt kill him cause I didnt have sharp weapon) I run off after the clown fights the guy. THEN out of nowhere a clown just teleports on me and practically insta kills me

TL;DR this game sucks for new players

Not a lot of players on steam but a lot on consoles still match mostly with console players. Anyways i have played enough about 50 hours and im done with this game.

yeah i wont lie, as much as i like this game im starting to get a little worried about the future of it.

Still getting queues under a minute here, lots of console players. Steam numbers mean nothing when crossplay exists, don't let them bother you.
