crossplay wtih friends

Man wtf, you can afford a PC and an expensive freshly new title like this, so why not just buy a console and another copy of the game if you want to play with your friends instead of asking such questions.. Are you nuts ? What's wrong playing with randoms ? You respect no other human beings except your friends ?? If that's so, that's crazy.. if you wanna be in their company, what's the problem with talking with your friends while you both play the game but in separate lobbies/games or invite them over to watch/play ? Think about it bro.. am I wrong ? There are many workarounds like this but instead, you decide to waste other people's time to read something like this ? Smh

John, it's working. You both have to have a epic account and join through that. It's in game. Press your name, and it's the symbol next to the steam icon (if you on PC). Make sure both you and your people are linked and then invite.

its still not working hes playing on xbox, found out that they havent got the day one patch yet only pc and ps5 have.

Why did they make Epic the hub for all of the crossplay to work? I tried linking all of my accounts together and it's still not working.

I wonder this too. It is literally the worst choice for a game like this. They should of made lobbies work like they do in Texas Chainsaw Massacre where we just give a lobby code for people to join.
