This forum is silly. So many troll posts and posts from angry nerds who aren't even playing the game.

If you look at this forum and think it's any indication of how the game is, you're wrong. Everyone's actually in game having a fun time. Everyone else is being salty in the forum because who knows why.

I played a few hours during pre-release and am playing today. Things are running smooth and we're all in game having a good time on voice chat.

Been having lots of fun! Cross play is working super smooth too. Awesome to see all platforms playing together.

While I agree with your sentiment, I've been around long enough to have seen many games rise and fall.
You can't expect every multiplayer game to last forever, you can just enjoy them on release and enjoy them less and less as people abuse the "meta" until the game dies.

Sure. But they are still very vocal and the devs are listening to them instead of mocking and banning them. Look at what happened with the bouncecaster and popcorn gun. Both nerfed. I've blocked nearly all of them, but the devs haven't. So if they keep on trolling, they'll still be heard over anyone having fun in-game.

This is true, the game is great fun. The popcorn cannon absolutely needed a nerf and I have yet to test the bouncecaster. I am sure it will still be a good gun.

Or maybe just let the people enjoy it while it lasts ? I paid the game knowing DAMN WELL it's not gonna last but I want to have fun, even if it's for like 3 or 4 months, it's alright, 90% of games releasing these days die in a matter of months, it's how it is, enjoy things while they last instead of wasting your time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on every game because they're ''overpriced''.

To me this is such an odd thing that is brought up 12 months for a $40.00 online game is not bad at all it cost more to go watch a 2hr movie.

I think console cross-play will help keep this afloat for a while. I usually only see 1 other Steam player in my lobbies, at best. Queue times also being like 2-5 seconds is nice. I'll easily get my money's worth and enjoy it.

Idk i've seen a lot of trolls playing to. The amount of times I seen one man escapes on boat despite 3 people being there first to get in and bails. Just had a game 3 of us were there guy was fixing boat. Me and other guy were fighting 2 clowns. We killed BOTH of them. There was no danger anymore. He hopped in and just left us. Laughing yelling out "Bye you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!" Then proceeded with usual toxic garbage. "Your grandma is dead" "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ whitey school shooter!" "I snorted your grandmas ashes" Etc etc. I am starting to see these players like dozens of times a day now. And 3/4 the time they are Playstation players... I'm strongly considering turning crossplay off. tired of playing with those wankers. Don't know why but it feels like video games brings out the worst in people. You want to see someones true colors? Play a game with them.
