It is fine if $40 is too much of a gamble for you, but the game is out now and is really fun. Yea sure, this game might not last as along as DBD but just one weekend alone I already feel I got my $40 worth.

If you want to play it, buy it now. If you end up waiting for a discount, all that will happen is there might not be as much people playing (hopefully im wrong) and you will just say "MAN I KNEW IT!" and go punch air.

Also, it's not online only. One of the few questions answered on their website even mentions it.

turn off Internet and try to play the game.

the game is unfinished

- no babyclowntraps for the trapper makes this clownclass useless
- no preference system, so you will be forced to play mostly human 70% of the time
- no klownbots
- no offline mode

Yeah they will be if consumers crumple like weak tissue paper and don't stand for their right of ownership.

You are one such person. And you are just paying to be robbed, which also brings into question like minded individuals intelligence.

I will never pay for an online only game that can be taken from me on a whim.

And not as many people are ok with online only as you think. Thankfully more and more are waking up and refusing to pay for such games and it's clearly having an effect as companies are also listening to pleas for game preservationg. 40k Inquisitor Martyr, Redfall, Relic Hunters Legend, soon to be Wayfinder, Nightingale, and others I can't remember the names of off hand.

Continue being a sheep if you wish and throwing your money down the crapper as the game will be taken from you along with time you put into it, all for nothing.

and if they do i'll refuse to buy games but I highly doubt that will happen as they will lose alot of sales to people like me that refuse to buy always online games now after what happened with Lawbreakers and The Crew

$51.99 to $77.99 Canadian plus tax for a MPer only game? Really? Cmon man!

Says the person who’s hiding their games. Why even respond? The majority of my games are AAA titles and not free-to-play trash.

That’s not the full game. The $60 version is!
40$ fixed your title for you. Making games isn't cheap. I'd say it's reasonable. The only reason I was hesitant at all at the start is because normally these games don't last that long...

I had this on my wishlist for a long time, but I just can't justify purchasing this beta-ish game for $39.99.

That's the deluxe version, though. It's not needed.
