i care about what i wish the game was.
the game is 40 DOLLARS?
BRL 5:1 dollar
so it is indeed regionalized. my bad on that one.
That doesn't seem to be the case
-KKFOS is pretty niche compared to Friday the 13th or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It was not commercially successful and only got fan success later on after being a regular staple on cable tv broadcasts to develop a cult following.
-The niche audience means a lot of potential for word of mouth to be spread to get people on board.
-It didn't have the allure of being a game in a new and nascent genre like Friday the 13th was, which was in development since before anyone even heard of Dead By Daylight, or being on Xbox Game Pass like TCM was, which allowed tons of people to at least try the game without forking over $40.
-3K Players or whatever is really not all that bad when you consider those factors, and also consider that it is a cross platform game and that a lot more than 3k people are playing the game, as thousands more are definitely playing on Xbox and Playstation consoles.
Most games grow and peak within 24 hours of launch. TCM had a 10k player peak and has 621 people playing now, less than a year later.
4k isn't a lot for a launch of a game that requires a full group of people to play, it's actually rather rough.
It might sustain the game for about 2 - 6 months at the very most.
Edit: Under 1000 players already.
Make sure to at least research a little.
