The steam refund policy is not that rigid. It depends on how many games you buy and DONT refund and what sort of game it is. A human decides.

Iv refunded games with 30+ hours because an update came out that was particularly proper terrible or because the game is stuck in early access hell.

The big one for me was Dayz, I had 54hrs, refunded a few years ago because it was in early access limbo.

But also. I own over 1000 steam games.

In cases where the game is suffering from technical problems and rendered nearly unplayable as a result then yes the refund is accepted, this however is not the case as hundreds of players have been able to play Killer Klowns with no problems. Also the refund is pretty strict and 90% of the time unless you do certain steps with the refund it's auto reviewed by a bot and subsequently auto denied.

How did I get a refund for Fallout76 with 4 hours played then? Game always worked, I just found it boring.

Fallout 76 was a piece of garbage and even Steam knows Bethesda is bad at game dev lol
You take one look at Fallout 76 and you'll probably get a video about how there was only 1001+ bugs with the game which is probably a new record for Bethesda

It's okay to leave/refund if you're not enjoying a game, it's not okay to make an attention seeking post looking for validation. People need to just do them without looking to others to reaffirm their choices.
