popcorn gun

dude every game all klowns have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ popcorn gun. i cant even do anything, not even run from them. THATS HOW OP IT IS. I WAS A BIKER AND IT KILLED ME IN 2 HITS I WAS FULL HP

their patch 1 update at release says that weapon balance will be a thing. So there'll likely be some adjustments to everything. The popcorn gun especially has been very vocally noted, that I can not imagine it goes untouched at this point. For now though, I would try to not take the game too serious. Just have fun with it win or lose. Rp a bit with the clowns, be goofy, throw burgers in the face of your teammates. Its all good.

Have you played against the bouncecaster? That thing makes the popcorn gun look like a joke

They had made an official post(twitter/x) that it would be nerfed when the game updates on the 4th, no hard details were included.

Lots of whingers acting like it is totally unjustified though, claiming that they can't succeed with other equipment so that makes the current performance of the Popcorn and Bouncecaster "fair"(if you need them to win, you suck. Sorry, not sorry).

fr its getting really annoying seeing everyone use the popcorn and the bouncecaster. Turns the game into a meta sweatfest and makes getting kills/cocoons way to easy for the clowns. Ruins all suspense when you see a popcorn cannon because you already know there's nothing you can do

being able to deal damage, even small amounts from pretty far, reload relatively quickly aswell as track for your teammates does feel a bit over tuned compared to "m1 to hit with silly hammer".

Not to mention it feels like theres no active inventive to candy floss enemies anyway, and most of those guns are tedious to use. you want them dead so they waste the resurrect machine as soon as possible. Ontop of that they can just break themselves out with certain items. Might aswell just popcorn them then kill them on the floor.

popcorn gun does need damage reduction, since its main objective is to track down people, like in the movie.

When you want to attack someone from a distance, the weapons you are supposed to use are the ones that transform them into cotton candy.

knocking down a person should be a little more complicated like with other weapons where you have to be close to be able to do damage.

I look forward to seeing what they do in the day one patch, since most of the clowns only use that weapon and it's more fun when there's variety, instead of everyone using the same thing.

tbh, if im being chased on the forest map, just run to to the 2nd story house and jump front window on the platform. invincible spot, they can attack u if ur too far out but cant kill you

Not sure what you are on about. Gobstopper flail is so good. It has decent melee range and the charge shot is long range. Sure it's hard to hit but that's the skill ceiling of the weapon.

Anyone saying the Klown's only viable weapons are the bouncecaster and popcorn gun is being disingenuous. You can outperform any human 1v1 if you use LOL like you're supposed too. You can easily catch up to and cocoon anyone with the base ray gun, and the damage and health boost lets you outfight anyone. No, you shouldn't be winning 1v4s with the bouncecaster, sorry.

Nah that thing if you actually use it is actually very janky to use. escpally if you are doing the manual detonations with it where its hit reg is very uh.... wonky. the pop corn gun is waaay stronger then it still

Thats objectivly incorrect. even with lol in 1v1 a lot of the humans like athletics can still escape you if they have one of the numerous energy drinks in the map or are somewhat good at running. the other weapons are trash. sorry. the boxing gloves are somewhat Okay with its attack speed. the other cotton candy guns are actually awful with how little they do. the other weapons needs to be buffed more then anything else though.

again got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one shotted from a literal shorty with the popcorn gun I WAS A BIKER WHAT THE ACTUAL ♥♥♥♥, literally every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ klown has the gun. EVERYONE DIED IN THE FIRST 3 MINUTES BECAUSE OF THIS GUN. and this is not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skill issue, it can hit you 100 METERS AWAY (yes i know its getting nerfed im just dramatic)

If someone uses a energy drink just disengage and go for another human. They only last for about ten seconds.
