Everything wrong with this game so far
1 - The horrible spawns
It's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you in 90% of the matches you play, if you memorize the spawn locations, you'll soon realize as a clown, that you spawn next to someone almost every single match and you can just bum rush them and kill them instantly. Survivors need like a 7 second head start, at the start of the match, or something that gives them the initial edge, briefly, just to get the hell away from a spawn rushing clown.

2 - The QTE bug (Fixed?...)
Every now and then, you'll experience that skill check bug, where you hit it right in the orange and it says "too late" and you're left wondering "how TF did I hit that too late?....." and then the klowns decend upon your poor innocent A-hole and tear it a new one(if they're good klown players). It also seems like the QTE zones are off and not positioned right for where you need to land your skill check. For example, if you try to go for the perfect skill check and try to land it in the green, you almost never seem to get it on a lot of objectives. If you land it in the orange that's a second or a second and a half before the green, you'll perfect skill check it.

3 - REALLY BAD GAME BREAKING BUG FOR KLOWN. Survivor escaping as they're about to be hooked onto cotton candy generator.
So while you're playing as the clown, you're about to place someone on the cotton candy generator, if the survivor decides to escape RIGHT as they're being placed on it, it can break your movement entirely as the Klown and you 100% cannot move anymore. You can still shoot, swing mele weapons and use the map wide jump skill, but you still cannot move. You're 100% broken the entire rest of the match. THIS needs to be looked at ASAP if it continues to be abused

4 - Game breaking bug for Klown when survivor leaves in the middle of an execution.
VERY frequently when a survivor leaves the game, right as the klown is attempting to execute them, if the survivor leaves before the execution bar is fully completed, the Klown will be completely frozen in place and unable to do ANYTHING. This HAS to be fixed A.S.A.P. of griefers will absolutely run this game into the ground.

5 - Cottonizing the boat objective
A lot of the time, trying to cottonize this thing is a pain in the ass and you have to aim at such a VERY SPECIFIC spot in order for it to work like 50% of the time. This needs to have an easier hit box.

6 - Items sometimes not able to be picked up on map, specifically weapons.
This bug is pretty rare, but it's still extremely annoying. there's just sometimes where you'll see a weapon on the ground, table, top of a car etc. somewhere and you can't pick it up

7 - The class system, especially the "Tough" human class
The hell is even the point of these different classes if nothing but the stats make them unique? There's no point to play anything different, except maybe handyman for skill checks(if it actually affects it). The human class Tough is absolute garbage in comparison to Heroic because of the MASSIVE stat drop in movement and stamina, for just a VERY SLIGHT increase to strength and health. It's the worst trap card in the game honestly and I haven't really noticed any passive tanking ability for selecting it. This system needs reworks really badly.

8 - The challenges are busted. Not all of them are tracking.
The Archetype challenges are still busted for some, not all, from what I've noticed. Athletic, Heroic, Tough especially.

9 - Grenade Launcher can or can't cottonize objectives?....
This gun is confusing the hell out of me because I've had games where I'm able to cottonize objectives and then other games where I'm unable to cottonize objectives. what's the deal with this?

10 - Party System needs minor fixes (Fixed)
So far everything about the party system when joining quick matches is pretty solid, except every now and then, everyone except the party host will experience a black screen after the round is over and get kicked/crash.

11 - The throw arc for humans will sometimes disappear. (Seems fixed so far)
A lot of the times throughout most of my matches, I don't know what suddenly causes it to happen, but whenever I'll go to throw anything, the arc that shows where it will be thrown doesn't appear and idk where TF I'm about to throw whatever it is I'm throwing at.

12 - Bounce caster cotton gun is absolutely broken. (Fixed for the most part)
If you go against even 1 klown that knows how to use this thing, you're pretty screwed. If an entire team has them, it's a damn nightmare and you might as well just forfeit as the humans at that rate. This thing needs a nerf BAD. Increase its heat generation per hit and decrease its fire rate, or something because this thing is absolutely broken. If I wanted to win as klown and use the least amount of brain cells possible, this is the thing I would use.

13 - The Popcorn Bazooka's range is a lliiiiiiiiiiiiitttttlleeee too much. (Fixed)
The damage for this thing is fine, it makes sense that it's like a shotgun. HOWEVER, being pelted by this thing from like 50 meters+ away, getting your health chipped and still being tracked constantly is a liiiiiitttlee bit much in my opinion and I feel like a lot of the community agree's.


I'll add to this list as I go and find more things that seem out of balance, in my opinion and if anyone else has anything they want to add, comment below and I'll add it to this post if it seems like it needs attention.

I definitely wish there was more to classes than just stat changes.

Don't get me wrong, I love this gun because I will wreck everyone as Klown with it, but that's exactly the problem. This gun is broken. Up close, I understand it's supposed to do stupid amounts of damage, but the range it also has to keep pelting you and tracking you with is a little bit much. Sometimes I feel like I hit people 70 meters away with this thing. I feel the range on it needs a slight nerf. In the hands of a Klown that knows how to combat kite players that try to mele him, the humans will never win unless they guns about 90% of the time.

1. sometimes the spawns are pretty bad. i once spawned into an already running game with half the humans dead and a clown was like 20 feet away from me on the road. if he had just turned his head to the left he would've seen me. overall, i dont think the spawns are that bad, just for games in progress. i usually sprint around like a maniac at the start of the game and hardly ever have issues.

2. yes, qte and that sequencer mini game are pretty bad. not sure what is going on here. i can remember instances where the arrow is clearly in the good or perfect zone but i still miss despite pressing the right button.

3. this gun is terribly balanced. but this is indicative of several other problems with the game. mainly that ray guns are terrible and humans have a huge advantage in mobility. imo all ray guns should do some degree of permanent damage, like 10-50% of the damage done is permanent and lasts until the survivor uses a special item, is caccooned, or dies. this gives some degree of progress for chasing for clowns and the human can still get away. as it stands now ray guns are useless unless LOL is up. also nerf the energy drink and vaulting.

4. i agree. class balance is also pretty bad.

5. haven't experienced this specifically but just general crashes that aren't exclusive to the
party leader. they could be independent issues but idk.

6. yeah some of the objectives can be a pain in the ass to cottonize and some of them just stop working despite the prompt appearing and the objective being incomplete.

you cant interrupt the reload, brawler can outrun some of the humans, it does major damage up close, LoL gives two health states a damage boost and lets you kite, it has good range and decent damage dropoff, it has tracking, and you can move pretty quickly while reloading.

there really isnt much you can do against it
I had a bug where my items wouldn't work or change and it wasn't stun, it was like actually not reading inputs while in a fight after dropping a item to be able to fight. I ran in circles around a clown for like 10 seconds trying to get my items to change/work.

The human classes and Klowns is basically a game of rock paper scissors honestly. Yea the small dude is super fast, but I've never had a problem getting away from him with athelte(not surprising) and Heroic. Any other klown, you can easily create distance from them and get away or use corner stun strat and etc. If you honestly try bum rushing any klown while they have their weapon out, if they're an experienced klown, you deserve to get your ass whooped because they're meant to be intimidating and tough, while you are not.

If you charge klowns while they have their cotton gun out, with bounce caster being the only exception, you'll always be able to kick the living crap out of them if they don't switch to their weapon to attack you or if they don't run away etc. The Popcorn Bazooka is no different, I literally invite anyone to a private match to change my mind again, back to it being overpowered because it's not.

I've had this happen to me before as well, I just don't know what triggers it. The minute I can figure out what triggers it more reliably, I'm going to add it to the thread so their coding team has more information, on where to look, to find the bug.

yeah brawler cant outrun everyone but he can outrun quite a few of the classes. problem is that if the klown wants to use the bazooka to get kills, he has no reason to use any of the ray guns. you might be able to ambush them if you got a good loadout, but even then they get an invulnerability window with LoL, the reload animation for the bazooka continues thru the invuln window, and they can line up a shot for some big damage and easily kill you if they've chipped away at your health.

also melee is pretty janky in this game so if they turn around and just run away and shoot they can kite pretty easily.

Yeah, I was trying to fight right after being shot ( dropping a gascan to defend) so I am wondering if it is like when we do too many prompts while being damaged.

That's one thing I hate about DBD is there's literally no reason to play any other character. Making them each unique like TCM is way better.

Each Archtype has hidden specializations and hidden boosts for different weapons types

The Archtype challenges shows what proficiency each Archtype is strong with

Tough Archtype is supposed to be the best at charged attacks, can pretty much one tap Klowns, good in corner ambushes but sucks at escaping chase, might have longer stun times per hit, supposedly

Archtype stats might be bugged along with most of the game's issues, doesn't help they are hidden or probably disabled like Trapper's Trap Ability

Spawns are kind of bad tbh, I've spawned in next to Humans as Clown in that one shed in the lighthouse map like a dozen times at this point.

Dont forgot you cant cutstom buttons it seems,checked for 10 mins and yeah i cant find of there is a option to change buttons so.
