Popcorn Cannon Rework

Popcorn Cannon needs a bit of a rework, it is far too effective IMO. Damage, range, no penalty for shooting it besides a short reload, I think slowdown on the person effected, and Wall hacks. Prob only thing they need to do is give slowdown while reloading and maybe less range being it tbh.

It does damage? I thought it was kind of useless but I guess I'll put it back on, thanks for the heads up bro.

Edit: Starting using it more and hot DAMN it's so busted and way better than the mallet, only downside is the reload which still makes it super worth to run.

Yeahhh no i agree with this, the popcorn bazooka needs a heft nerf its absolutely broken, atleast make klowns stand still when reloading or something like that, its about a whole healthbar damage every 3 seconds while they're on your ass, no aim required nor skill

you cant chase humans with melee and cotton gun is incredibly slow and cotton disappears super fast. it seems like only viable option atm

It's even more disgusting if you use the lure. So yeah, likely gonna receive a nerf. Most likely with the supposed day 1 patch (which will likely drop on the 4th since that is the official release)

For sure since you can also use the Lure and cancel the animation by Pressing whatever button you have to press to cancel it the second you affect someone with it and they will continue to walk towards you. Dunno if that really needs to be changed but it probably should lock you in the animation for a second or something at the very least

Edit: That may not happen I thought it was a think cause I'm fairly sure I did it once but tried it again and it didnt work

It's probably not so much that the popcorn gun is op, it's just that most other klown weapons are pretty meh, so naturally klowns tend to use something effective.

I've been trying to voice concerns on both sides of the game but get those people that just wanna ignore the issues.


I don't want things "nerfed" but balanced for sure.

It has too many pros. It has range, it shows auras, it breaks doors, it does good damage, you dont loose much distance while reloading (hell i used an energy drink and the guy that was chasing me still managed to stay on my ass while shooting me)
