How to join Cross Platform - Guide

At the main menu
-Click on your profile in the top right of the screen.
-Click the "Create Party" button.
-At the top middle of your screen click on the cog wheel settings icon.
-set party privacy to "Public" this will generate a party code.
-click show code, and share that code with your cross platform friends.

To join with a code.
-At the main menu click on your profile in the top right or on "Friends" tab
-Click on the cog wheel settings icon.
-make sure your party privacy is set to either "Friends only" or "Invite only".
-type in the shared code from your friend in the "Find Party" section.

xbox and playstation dont have the code system

so then there is no crossplay

Crossplay said it requires an Epic account. So I went to my Epic accounts, linked it to my Steam, PSN, and Xbox account, and then... nothing.
Why can't consoles just have Party Codes so we can join up directly!?
