Racing through the village bugged...

So I spoke to "early girl" briefly before the tournament, but didn't want to do a race at that point. Then after the tournament when I got back to the main city, I did the race quest "Racing through town"

Early Girl, no longer spawns in Llama village so I no longer have a way to complete "racing through the village..."

Was this meant to be a timed quest that could be failed after proceeding with the story? Or is this a bug?

Hello! Did you succeed "Racing Through Town" on your first try, or did you fail it? Did something interrupt any attempt you made? Same question for "Racing Through the Village". I think the game thinks you're you're currently doing the Llama Village Race, in which case Early Girl is temporarily absent from Llama Village if you try to re-enter it.

I failed "racing through town" the first time.
The second time I beat it.

"Racing through the village" all I did was talk to her, but I never started this race. AFTER the tournament main story events, I then went to Royal Town and completed "racing through the town" (on second try).

Never did I even start a race for "racing through the village" Early girl won't appear in llama town so I couldn't start it if I wanted to...

As an update, I have since done every other race event that has come up succesfully (I think two more after "racing through town" without issue.

It's just the racing through the village one, early girl won't appera in llama village for me to do it.
