How much does the game cost?

Which languages are supported?

English, French, Spanish, German, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Will there be more languages?

We appreciate your localisation efforts, but it's not planned at the moment! Thank you for your support to the game!

Will there be DLC in the future?

Not planned, we will communicate on the subject in case of changes!

Who's developing the game?

WildArts Inc is a team of French Canadians who dream about bringing fantastical worlds, memorable characters, and fun gameplay to you through the remarkable and unique medium of video games. Founded in 2016, the team’s first commercial release was the horror game Helltown. Its sophomore debut is the far more ambitious RPG Born of Bread.

Will there be Mod support?

Not planned at the moment, we will announce it once this changes.

How can I have the best experience at Born of Bread?

We recommend that you use your controller to play Born of Bread for the best gaming experience.

Controllers support?

Xbox & Playstation & Switch pro controllers supported.

Will this game be available in a physical copy?

No physical release has been confirmed yet, but we’ll update that if anything changes.

How long is the game?

About 15 hours, though this can change significantly if you do all the side content.

Can we change the difficulty of the game?

There is only one difficulty in the game.

Can I share my ideas and art with the devs and other players?

Of course! The devs are available through Discord [discord.gg] and the game’s Steam Community Hub and they’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop them a line and share your work with them!

What genre will the game be?

Born of Bread is a family-friendly RPG with some puzzles and exploration elements. Combat is turn-based, but precise timing can grant bonus attack damage or defense.

Can I play the game on Steamdeck?

We are still waiting for the validation, but normally you can play the game your SteamDeck without any issues.

Hello! Thank you for your question!

For the Gamecube controller, we cannot guarantee that it will work 100%.

But Xbox & Playstation & Switch Pro controllers are supported!

Will you guys ever allow for a steam workshop sort of setup like a harder version of the game. I know its a weird question but I really love this game and was hoping for a Paper Mario Master Quest by emperor thames version which with steam workshop would be awesome.
