It's not up to STEAM to allow or disallow incest content. It's more in line with a region's laws, which is understandable.

That being said, if still going without, I'm taking it off the wish list of mine.

That's a heck of a leap there. The dev is Russian so keep in mind there's a language barrier. They said that they were worried about content policies at the company and nation level. They have never contradicted that. They just said, it's not in the game and if that's the only thing you're interested, then the game isn't for you.

Because some people in this thread seem to have not played the game, slightly mean spirited spoiler: She is not your sister. She's not even your step sister. Incest is impossible to add.

Wow, such hardcore fetishist on here. "Incest or no buy" is crazy to me. I mean, you do you, but don't chew out the developers just because they didn't make the game you wanted. In the first place, the developer may simply have no interest in, or even be completely against making such a game, and there is nothing wrong with that. Paragraphs of complaints and arguments is completely unwarranted. If this isn't what you're looking for, you can move on without throwing a fit. I don't think its wrong to ask, but when you get the answer, just take the 'no' and go.

As for whether it's allowed, yes, there are a lot of incest games on steam, but some games have been rejected, or removed due to the inclusion of that fetish. There are also home-country production laws that may ban it, a lot of developers make these games on Patron, which also bans it, and steam has regional restrictions, which may ban it in the developer's location. That can at worst make it impossible and and at best difficult to make such a game. Regardless, there is no need to throw a fit, there are plenty of incest games out there.
